I'm opening for character commissions. Here are the rules

1. I will absolutely not draw anything pornographic, fetish, or otherwise NSFW

2. I am not obligated to accept the commission job, nor am I required to justify my decision.

3. I accept payment through Paypal or bank etransfer, funds will be in Canadian dollars so the rates will be adjusted for currency conversion.

4. Payment must be made up-front. A time frame will be decided based on the complexity of the piece. If I am unable to complete the piece for whatever reason, the payment will be refunded.

I've decided that I'm gonna try my hand at this Twitch stream thing that all of the kids these days are into. So here's my plan: tomorrow (Jan 25th 2022) at 6:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time), I'm going to start streaming. This will be a live drawing stream wherein I will sketch up suggestions from the audience. I've never done this before so I have no idea how well it is going to go. Ideally this will be the first step to doing many more in the future. My Twitch channel is https://www.twitch.tv/didjargo I hope to see a good audience there.

Greetings. I have a small project that is peculating in the back of my mind which I'd like some help from the community with. If you would like to contribute, please supply a sound file of you saying any and/or all of the following phrases. You can use your natural voice or put on a voice if you'd like. If this project ever sees the light of day, those who voice clips I use will be credited.

"hey, did you draw that?"

"Can you teach me how to draw?"

"Can you draw me?"

"What is that, anime?"

"That's that anime stuff, isn't it?"

"I guess you draw that anime, huh?"

"Why did you draw it like that?"

"Do you draw naked people?"

"I bet you draw naked people all the time, don't you?"

"Can you make a cartoon about me where I'm the main character and it's all about me?" (this one calls for an obnoxious 'valley girl' female voice)

"I need you to draw Mini Mouse on a parade float wearing a torn up wedding dress flossing her teeth with her feet inside a two blueberry pies." (this one calls for a creepy male voice)

"Hey, you can draw right?... Can you design this tattoo I wanna get?... It's... the Devil r**ping Jesus" (calls for male voice, pause at the ellipses, if you don't feel comfortable saying the censored word, say "roping" or "rapping". I'm gonna bleep it out anyways.

Picking up on the theme here I'm sure, feel free to improve any annoying, ignorant, or creepy questions that you have been asked as an artist over the years. Oh, and you can post a link to your file in the comments or PM it to me.

Hey everyone, I'm finally back after 140 days of being trapped in a tin can with 250 other people. And I do mean trapped. As in no shore leave allowed at all because of Covid. We had port visits, naturally, but no one was allowed to leave the ship. It was a very difficult trip... and a sadly tragic one at that. A mere 3 days before we returned home, we lost one of our shipmates to sea. I did not know the guy personally, but it is a huge loss to the ship's company and devastating to think about what his family is going through right now.

Like I imagine is the same with a lot of people, I won't be traveling to visit family this Christmas. It's alright, after that deployment, I really do not want to deal with airports or long flights. But I just wanted to say that I have returned, and I will probably get back to drawing once I've settled in. Happy Holidays, Everyone.

Imma be real with you guys, after this week, you likely will not see me on this site until the end of the year. In one week's time I will be on deployment. Doing RIMPAC then a mission. I'm semi-off this week, the whole crew is under orders to quarantine ourselves at our homes with online lectures and scheduled time to come in and get tested for Covid-19. No one has it (that we know of) but the Brass are very keen on us sailing with the guarantee that we will not be taking the virus onboard with us.

The sucky thing is that we can expect to have absolutely no port visits this entire deployment. Again, to ensure that we don't spread the virus to the crew. We may have wi-fi in the messes, but that is not a guarantee and it will likely be limited. But we'll see how things work out.
