My Little Mages: Octavia

EDIT: I wasn't happy with the rush job I did on the shading. And I was board while on duty yesterday so I looked up a bunch of tutorials about shading in Photoshop. to put it short, I did a major upgrade on this picture.

This one actually went though several designs for her outfit. Many of them looked too... "big and flowy" to suit her personality. Or at least her personality portrayed in the fan animations. But I think this one works. Conservative yet still with a fantasy element to it. She was also originally going to be posed with a violin as opposed to a cello. Mostly because I had trouble working a cello into a standing pose that didn't look silly. But I knew that I'd probably end up getting a lot of comments about how Octavia is a cello player and not a violinist. So I worked it out so that she is materializing a cello out of a magic circle thingy. I don't know if that's an ability that Epic Bards have but screw it. It looks pretty.
