Ha! I finally justified buying that digital camera. On my way home from work today there was a fire-eater named Ivan putting on a show in the market. Naturally, I stood up front and got my camera ready, hoping to get a good shot. The snag is that my memory card was full, so imagine me frantically deleting photos on my camera to try and get some photos in. It took a lot of trail and error, trying to find the right setting for this kind of lighting and timing the shot just right. But on the very last part of his show, the last chance to take a shot, I landed this one. I really like how it turned out. The details of the flame are hypnotic.
That...is damned cool man. The detail in the flames is utterly incredible. If I could give any sort of advice, I would, but how can you when it looks as thought you nailed the settings, timing, everything to get that picture?
This is a damned good picture. The fire contrasts beautifully in the darkness. It's like dragon's breath. Awesome photo.

I love fire...as in how it looks in pictures...well even in reality fire looks fantastic. It's just so breathtaking figuratively and physically.
Hard work paid off...nice shot.
